Welcome to Cairns & District Power Boat & Ski Club. The club was formed in 1965 by a group of individuals who wanted to get together and race their then new motorised boats. From there the club has grown and has a strong pedigree of world champion skiers. Our small club has produced 3 World and 5 Australian Speed Ski Champions.Over the years the club has gone through a number of different phases seeing us host Power Boat Racing, Speed Skiing, Three Event Tournament Skiing, Barefoot Competitions, Wakeboarding and Lane Racing.We are currently holding Lane Racing and Barefoot competitions with the occasional Wakeboard competition thrown in for good measure.
